UN 2030 Agenda

SDG Alignment Framework

Summer Peace University aligns its educational model and public outputs with the United Nations 2030 Agenda.

SDG alignment is applied as a governance tool: it strengthens coherence across teaching, applied labs, policy writing, and local action, translating learning into responsible public value.

Core SDGs
SPU’s strategic compass is centred on:

How alignment works in practice

  • Weekly SDG Clusters: each week highlights a defined cluster of SDGs connected to the thematic focus of lectures, Peace Labs and Public Forums.

  • Peace Memos: students produce weekly Peace Memos linking key insights to selected SDG targets, turning analysis into structured reflection and policy relevance.

  • White Paper: the annual White Paper consolidates recommendations and action pathways explicitly anchored in SDG targets for institutional uptake.

  • Local Peace Projects (LPP): each LPP identifies a primary SDG and supporting targets, with a minimal evidence set to make impact visible and accountable.

Weekly SDG Focus (SPU26)

  • Week 1: SDGs 4, 11, 16, 17

  • Week 2: SDGs 8, 10, 13, 16, 17

  • Week 3: SDGs 4, 9, 16, 17

  • Week 4: SDGs 2, 3, 4, 16, 17

Integrity and transparency

SPU uses SDGs as a reference framework for coherence and accountability. This does not imply any formal endorsement by the United Nations. When SDG icons are used, they follow the official SDG communication guidelines.
