The Summer Peace University (SPU) is a global academic and cultural project promoted by the Calabrian Institute of International Policies (IsCaPI). Established to link education, diplomacy, and civil society, SPU promotes peace, sustainable development, and intercultural dialogue through the cooperation of universities, institutions, and organizations worldwide.
Its mission is to train a new generation of peace-oriented leaders and responsible global citizens who can transform academic knowledge into ethical and social innovation.
Operating from Belvedere Marittimo, a Mediterranean town that has become an open campus, SPU blends research, education, and community life in an environment that values dialogue over competition and creativity over conformity.
